Brother Tom Erickson has been involved in prison ministry for over 35 years.
Buddy Sapp has agreed to work in this Prison Ministry. Debra Sapp & Niki Thoma are going to teach the women at the Caddo County Jail. With the help of The Caddo county Sheriff & his deputies 146 men and 16 women have confessed Jesus & were baptised for the remission of sins since March of 2005. This on going ministry is doing great work in God's Kingdom!

Some of the new Christians are starting study groups in their respective cell blocks. They meet in groups of 6-8 people twice a day to study God's Word. Several of the new converts are a direct result of these Bible classes.

We had our first Church Service at the county jail on Sunday June 12, 2005. There were 25 inmates plus 3 employees and 18 members from the local church in attendence. It was a great service and everyone was uplifted by what God is doing! With God's help we will have a service at least once a month there. Please pray for this effort as lives are being changed by the power of God! We had our second service at the county jail on July 10, 2005 with 32 inmates plus 2 employess and 20 from the local church.

There are currently inmates out of the Caddo County Jail Church Services that have went into the DOC system at Boley, Taft, Cushing, Ft Supply, McAlester & Lawton that are still in the Word, studying & teaching.

The feeling I got was very fulling by the baptism and the people at the church and I am glad to be part of God's Kingdom. I want to thank the People who shared their time for me to be baptized.

Bless the Church of Christ and their love. Being a very proudful and selfish man. I have come to realize that being baptized is the beginning of a new life in Christ. I have shamed, given pain and suffering not only to the ones I love who are dear to my heart, but I have sinned against God.

The people showed great love and looked past our orange suitsas if we were family.
